For tattoos
- Keep the fresh tattoo covered with the bandage for at least 2 hours, no longer than 24hrs.
- Do not remove the bandage until you are at a place where you can clean the tattoo.
- Wash the tattooed area thoroughly with soap and water.
- Do not use anything abrasive like scrubs or exfoliators.
- Wash the tattooed area thoroughly with soap and water.
- When dry, apply a thin layer of Aquaphor to the tattoo.
- Do not re-bandage.
- Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor at least 2 times a day for 3 days.
- After 3 days, or when the tattoo starts to peel, after cleaning, apply a thin layer of unscented lotion. (We suggest Lubriderm or Curel. ( Fragrance free / Alcohol Free))
- Avoid direct sun exposure and do not soak the tattoo in water (pools and baths) for at least 2 weeks.

For piercings
- WASH your hands thoroughly prior to cleaning or touching your piercing for any reason.
- SPRAY with sterile saline wound wash while healing. Moving or rotating jewelry is not necessary during cleaning/rinsing and may actually irritate the piercing.
- DRY with clean, disposable products like gauze or cotton swabs, gently removing any crusty debris or build up. Cloth towels should be avoided as they can harbor bacteria and snag on jewelry.
